Multiplication SignThe zero property says that any number multiplied by zero equals zero.  The identify property says that any number multiplied by one equals that number.  For example, 1 x 8 = 8.  The commutative property says that if you change the order of the factors the product doesn’t change.  It is also called the order property.  The associative property says that if you change the order of the groupings the product doesn’t change.  It is also called the grouping property.
